(4.33) The Epiclesis
The priest implores our Lord the Father and calls upon the Holy Spirit to make holy the bread and wine offered by the faithful so it may become the Body and Blood of Christ.
The Priest says:
Therefore, O lord, we humbly implore you:
By the same Spirit graciously make holy
these gifts we have brought for consecration,
that they may become the Body and Blood
of your Son our Lord Jesus Christ,
at whose command we celebrate these mysteries.
