(3.2) The Responsorial Psalm
The Responsorial Psalm takes place between the First and Second Reading. It is taken from the Book of Psalms and should ideally be sung but can be read in a poetic manner which should be appropriate to the context of what is being read. As the name implies, a verse is sung or read by the cantor and we sing or say the response in back and forth manner.
